Membership Renewal

The standard Sing Up Membership period is 12 months and needs to be renewed annually. Any users connected to your Membership can check the expiry date in their Account area at any time. Unless you're on a recurring payment plan such as Direct Debit your Membership will not be extended automatically, but anyone connected to your Membership can choose to renew as early as 3 months before the Membership is due to expire.

To renew, simply log in to your account, head to your account area and hit the renew button within the pop-up.* This will lead you to the most recent Membership offers, where you can follow the process to renew.

Renewing early means that we add 12 months to your current expiry date and you will have no break in your access to your Sing Up Membership. We will also inform the Sing Up Admin via letter and/or email well in time so you can make sure you have continual access to your Sing Up Membership benefits.

If you would like assistance with your renewal or if you experience difficulties accessing your account, don’t hesitate to get in touch with our friendly Support Team.

* The renewal notification will only be displayed if your Membership is due to expire within 3 months.

Access to Membership

You will have full access to your Membership benefits, as soon as payment for Membership has been received.

If you paid for your Membership during the ordering process, you will have access to all your Membership benefits straight away. If you've chosen to be invoiced, you will need to organise payment and your Membership will be activated as soon as this has been received.

An email notification confirming your order and how to get started will be sent to the individual placing the order.

If you think you have paid but still don't have access to your Membership, or if you haven't received your invoice, please get in touch with our friendly Support Team.

Membership pricing

Sing Up is committed to ensuring fair pricing for Membership packages. We base our prices on average usage data collated and compared annually, and on school size. This means that larger schools with anticipated higher levels of usage pay more than smaller schools who typically have smaller budgets and use less content over a 12 month period.

Membership fees pay for royalties due to songwriters, composers, arrangers and performers – we believe in supporting these musicians and in turn, they support the music education of children and young people by working with Sing Up. In addition, £5 from every Membership sold is donated to the Sing Up Foundation to support young people’s mental health and well-being. The rest goes back into the business to enable us to continue adding new content and improving the resources and website for our Members.

I can't find my organisation when signing up or changing my school/organisation

To find your school/organisation's Membership account, try searching for part fo the the postcode or school/organisation name:

  • For example, if you were a teacher at Hatch Warren Infant School, you could try searching for ‘Hatch’.
  • Alternatively, you can try inputting just the first part of your postcode - e.g. SE1.

If your school/organisation is still not appearing, it might not be registered with Sing Up yet and you may need to create a new Membership account.
