A: Usually your Sing Up username would be your preferred email address and the password would be anything memorable to you.
You choose your login details on registration, which will also be confirmed in your confirmation email. Your login details will stay the same until you decide to update these in your My Sing Up area.
If you forget your password in the future, you can use the forgotten password link on the login page, alternatively, you can contact our Support Team who will be happy to help with forgotten usernames or passwords.
A: If you are purchasing a School/Organisation Membership, the person placing the order will automatically be nominated as the Sing Up Admin. This provides administrative rights over the Membership account including adding and approving additional colleagues. Once your colleagues are added to your Membership, the Sing Up Admin has the opportunity to assign/revoke the administrator status via the My Sing Up area to additional colleagues or give up their own Admin status, if required.
A: School/Organisation Membership allows you to share your Membership with as many colleagues as you like. A Sing Up Admin can accept and remove colleagues by submitting a registered email address into the ‘Add colleague’ box on the 'Organisation' page. The colleague will then receive a notification and can accept the invitation on their own 'Organisation' page. Please note that the email address submitted needs to be registered with Sing Up first or it won't be found in our system.
A: If you are already registered with Sing Up and you want to connect to your organisation’s Membership, go to the Organisation page in your My Sing Up area and submit your organisation’s postcode in the ‘Change your school’ box. Keep an eye out for your confirmation email.
A: To find a song you can…
The Sing Up Song Bank expands continuously, as we seek out new songs and commission more original material. Our partnership with Faber Music ensures we are always at the cutting edge of finding and developing great new songs for use in schools and other settings.
If you are not able to locate a song and you would like to recommend it for inclusion in the Song Bank, contact us! We love to hear your suggestions.
A: Your Library is an easy way to locate your songs. Here you'll find the Song Bank songs you've unlocked and all Free songs. If you're a School/Organisation Member or have a magazine subscription*, you will also find your magazine songs here whilst that issue is current. Once you've downloaded them, they'll stay there forever!
Your playlists allow you to order any Song Bank songs in categories created by you. This gives you access to groups of songs quickly and easily.
To learn more about how to create, use or delete a playlist, visit the Song Bank, Webinars & Resources section for more detailed advice.
*Please note for copyright reasons the Magazine is not available outside the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.
A: Streaming is when you play a song directly from the Song Bank by clicking on the track name. All songs can be streamed as many times as you like as part of Membership. Sing Up Friends can freely stream their 10 free songs.
Credits allow you to unlock any song from the Song Bank, which opens up a wealth of content especially created for that song, including all associated audio tracks (i.e. performance, backing and echo tracks), scores, instrumental parts and lyrics, plus any other specially-created resources. For each song, one credit is all you need and information on how to use or top-up your credits can be found in the Song Bank, Webinars & Resources section.
You can use the 'download' buttons to take songs away from the website and on to your computer. You will then be able to put them on to CD or memory stick.
Please see our Terms and Conditions for further information on sharing your songs.
A: Scores are available for the majority of our songs and warm-ups and can be unlocked with a credit, which will give you 12 weeks to print the sheet music. For copyright reasons, you will not be able to save scores on your computer. If the 12 weeks has passed and you want to print the score again, you can use another credit to do so. You don't need to use another credit to download songs again – these are yours to keep forever.
The Whiteboard mode – free for Members – is a handy way to access the melody line of the score, including the lyrics and chords.
For more detailed information on how to print scores or use the Whiteboard mode visit the Song Bank, Webinars & Resources section.
A: The termly Sing Up Magazine* is available to anyone with Membership. As part of School/Organisation Membership you will receive one copy each term and can buy extra issues in the shop. Individual Members can get the magazine as an add-on, either when they order or at any point through the shop.
Useful for your day to day preparation are our Teaching Tools and Knowledge Hub areas, where you'll find Sing Up Music resources, Lesson, Activity, and Assembly Plans, How-Tos and Guides and much more.
The Sing Up Awards** are a great way to celebrate your singing achievements and map your singing journey, providing support and guidance.
