About Sing Up

We are an award-winning organisation which makes transformative change happen in schools to enhance children’s development and learning through the power of music and singing. Developed by teachers and experts, we have been supporting schools’ singing and music making for fifteen years, and today Sing Up’s digital platform is used and loved by teachers and pupils around the world.

We are passionate about giving all children and young people opportunities to sing and make music – for personal enjoyment, to support learning and to help them to develop lasting tools to express themselves with confidence and creativity.

We also believe in the intrinsic value of music - both educationally and financially. This means that when we are commissioning, creating & sharing music resources, we focus on the development of musicianship skills first and foremost, and we make sure that songwriters, composers, arrangers and rights holders are paid appropriately.

About Sing Up Foundation

Sing Up has always been a champion of the wider benefits of singing – for education, social, and health outcomes. As part of Sing Up’s 10th birthday, we created the Sing Up Foundation with a commitment to a new charitable purpose using singing as an aid to health and wellbeing.

We believe in the power of singing to improve health and wellbeing for all and create a healthier world through song. We produce, promote, and create opportunities for children and young people to improve their mental health and wellbeing through singing.

Our commitment to Equity, Diversity & Inclusion

We are committed to educating ourselves, addressing the barriers to equality, equity and diversity, and creating an inclusive environment. This matters to us because if we fail to reflect the wider society in all we do, we risk becoming less relevant and too narrow in our focus. In the coming years we will be looking for new ways to cherish our existing customers and engage with communities we haven’t connected with before.

Meet the team

We're creative and enthusiastic individuals from varied backgrounds and experience in many different professional fields, brought together by our belief in the power of music and singing. See what it's like to be a part of the Sing Up team ...
