Sing Up Foundation

As part of its 10th Birthday celebrations in 2017, Sing Up announced that it was creating a new charity – the Sing Up Foundation.

Sing Up has always been a champion of the wider benefits of singing – for education, social and health outcomes – and we wanted to mark our 10th birthday with a commitment to a new charitable purpose around singing. From creating meaningful support networks around singing together, to improving cognitive ability, singing is a powerful and underused tool for considerable positive impact.

Whilst the planning for the foundation is still in the early stages, the focus of the foundation's work will be looking at using singing to improve young people's mental health and wellbeing.
