Inclusion projects with Sing Up

Call for expressions of Interest

Sing Up is seeking expressions of interest from Hubs to work with them on a series of inclusion projects. By inclusion in this respect we mean a wider approach which seeks to address where exclusion exists and this may relate to issues of diversity and representation and equity in terms of access and need.

Projects will be focussed on different aspects of inclusion and specific challenges that Hubs face. These might include, as examples:

  • Mental well-being/anxiety
  • Ethnicity/racial background
  • English as an additional language
  • Neuro-diversity
  • LGBTQIA+

Singing is inclusive in that it is a way of learning and expressing oneself that can benefit everyone, regardless of their background or abilities. We have a long history of working to ensure genuine inclusion going right back to our Beyond the Mainstream projects when we were government funded. To expand reach and impact, we want to work with Hubs to address specific inclusion challenges by understanding the barriers and finding creative solutions.

The intention is for Sing Up to create joint funding bids with Hubs to support this work. Additionally, Sing Up will give staff time, expertise and resource as in-kind support, across both Sing Up (the company) and the charity Sing Up Foundation.

Deadline: Friday 21st July 2023
Interested Hub organisations should respond to the call for expressions of interest via the form below.
