World Peace Day

Join voices around the world in songs of unity and strength on 21 September

Help spread the message of peace, safety and dignity for all

The General Assembly of the UN has declared 21 September as "a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples." In the current world climate, it's important to show young people the power of working together. World Peace Day is a great time to take a look at your own school community and remind your pupils how important peace is to a happy environment.

One Day One Choir, a 'global choral project for peace', are encouraging schools and singers around the world to sing together on the International Day of Peace, a way to show what can be achieved when working together towards a positive goal. Make sure you sign up on the One Day One Choir website so they know you are taking part, and help yourself to the free resources below.
