Fly with the stars is a sing-and-play song for ukuleles, in an electronic dance style, with a Verse/Chorus structure. The song is based around the chords of A minor and C major, and begins with just two notes – the notes C and A – allowing pupils to get playing quickly. It is part of a series of songs composed for the purposes of learning ukulele with primary-aged pupils.

Ukulele part 1: two alternating notes played on A string
Ukulele part 2: single note played on E string
Ukulele part 3: single strum chords of A minor and C
Ukulele part 4: a more difficult strumming pattern on chords of A minor and C
