A charming, traditional song with a simple, appealing melody and some catchy syncopated rhythms that make the tune bounce along. The limited range of notes and uncomplicated lyrics make it very suitable for KS1 singers, but add the optional harmony and instrumental parts and the song would also work well for lower KS2.
