This song can be performed as a four-part round, or with any combination of parts. Try layering the parts, building them up gradually (maybe saving the tune until last). When the lower three parts hear the call of ‘ready are we ready …’ in bar four they know to respond by singing this back in the next bar.

This song will help to develop some of the following skills: listening and responding, confidence in using leaps within the vocal range, composition, singing different parts together and a sense of pulse.
