This lesson, you are going to revisit the song Hi lo chicka lo. This is the final of three progression snapshots created to demonstrate the progress pupils make. You should have a video recording device available to capture the singing. Then share the recording(s) with your Music Lead/Coordinator.
In progression snapshot 1, pupils learnt beat actions to Hi lo chicka lo and practised drawing the shape of the melody. In snapshot 2, they learnt a partner clapping game. In this lesson, children will make up their own body percussion sounds to the rhythm of the melody, and accompany themselves singing.
