Sing Up Music | Year 2 | Grandma rap | Lesson 3

This lesson you are going to revisit the song Hi lo chicka lo. This is the second of three progression snapshots spread across the year that have been created to demonstrate the progress pupils make. You should have a video recording device available to capture the singing. Then share the recording(s) with your Music Lead/Coordinator.  

In progression snapshot 1, pupils learnt beat actions to Hi lo chicka lo and practised drawing the shape of the melody.  In this lesson they will learn a partner clapping game that is the same as the rhythm of the melody.
