Hidden heroines of STEM

A whole-school primary Assembly Plan building on the Singing Practice Plan 'Reach for the stars with STEM'

The assembly material highlights the role of three women, Ada Lovelace, Katherine Johnson and Helen Sharman. They are all scientific pioneers whose contribution has often been overlooked. Remembering the forgotten women of science, the assembly attempts to inspire children that, regardless of gender, they too can choose STEM as a career.
