SingOUT Conference 2011

Adults involved in music-making with children and young people in the East Midlands are invited to the singOUT Conference 2011 on Monday 28 March.

Taking place at Beaumanor Hall near Loughborough, the event will celebrate the achievements of Sing Up in the East Midlands, and explore how its ethos can be sustained.

"If you are involved in singing or music-making in a formal or informal, practical or strategic capacity, then this is the event for you," says Shelley Spink of MusicLeader East Midlands, who is working with the Sing Up team to host the event.

"We’re offering places to anyone who delivers or manages music-making for young people, including teachers and early years practitioners, youth workers and volunteers, vocal leaders, arts officers, music co-ordinators and facilitators."

Some of the interactive workshops taking place will cover a diversity of specialist areas, including:

Transition: how to keep children singing as they grow up  

Early Years: starting the journey 

Young Singing Leaders: how to make leaders out of your students 

and much more!
