This year, we have selected five organisations to become Sing Up Flagships. These Flagships have demonstrated excellent practice in the field of singing with primary-aged children. These are two-year programmes with additional Flagships planned for 2009.

Flagships are working with us to represent, disseminate and develop best practice through practical projects and performances, creating useful resources and acting as advocates for Sing Up throughout the country.

Not only will thousands of children and many schools benefit from these programmes directly, but the knowledge we gain from these inspirational organisations can be spread on a wider scale so that teachers, singing leaders and young people from all over the country can learn from them.
