I should have said that the children of Fleet Primary School made a great job of singing this - it sounds super - it's just that I feel it is very important for children to hear accurate pronunciation when they are learning a new language.

I was pleased to see that this song is included in the song bank as it's hard to find a good recording of it but was then disappointed to find that the French pronunciation is not as accurate as it could be, particularly the word 'ainsi' (the spelling is wrong in the lyrics too) which should be a much more open sound - short 'a' rather than 'ar'. As a result, I'm sorry to say I can't bring myself to use it in class.
