Song Writer Biography

Melanie Barber

Melanie is a Primary Strategy Consultant for Behaviour and Attendance and SEAL for Wakefield LA. In 2003, she launched SEAL in Wakefield Authority, and now delivers CPD training and workshops to whole schools and specific target audiences across the country.

Geraldine Gaunt

Geraldine is Music Advisor for Wakefield LA and has a wealth of experience in writing materials to support music in primary schools. As co-author of the popular Music in Action series her work is highly respected by teachers. She is also in great demand for her music workshops that she runs across the country.

Phil Needham

Phil is Advisory Teacher for Music for Wakefield LA. Prior to this he worked for 15 years as a secondary music teacher and Head of Department, being one of the few departments nationally to receive a Grade 1 from Ofsted. In the past, Phil has created many high quality resources for pastoral use informed by his other roles as a Head of Year and Lower School.
