Research has proven that songs with simple rhymes are fantastic educational aids to use with children. They help to build language, communication and social skills and help to inspire creativity and musical skills, too.
Traditional songs and rhymes are a great starting point and these well-known tunes also provide a perfect backdrop for writing new lyrics to inspire topic-specific learning.
We've created this community sharing space to help build a library of simple songs and lyrics for use in Early Years and Key Stage 1 settings.
