Sing Up East Berkshire will be delivered in a range of schools, community and arts locations in Berkshire, with a focus on Slough and Windsor.

Creative Junction will collaborate with Slough Music Service and Berkshire Maestros to deliver Sing Up East Berkshire and will raise the enjoyment of singing in the community, classroom and staffroom by intertwining its works with strategic partners that will provide key opportunities for professional development and regular singing activities for young people.

Aims and Objectives

• Providing singing activities for school-aged children
• Making every primary school in Slough and Windsor a Singing School
• Creating singing partnerships for young people in transition (e.g. from early years into primary, primary into secondary and secondary and beyond)
• Creating singing partnerships in and between schools
• Providing and supporting singing activities in the community
• To work with partner art venues to provide neutral and positive spaces for workshops
• Supporting family choir at West Wing Arts Centre
• To collaborate with faith and community groups
• To create a generations singing together programme
• Regular workshop activities for young people
• To provide ongoing learning opportunities through singing
• To consult with young people
• To engage with extended services and other national intitiatives for integrated children's services
