Sing Up Devon is our fantastic two-year singing programme for all schools in the Tiverton and Honiton areas.

The project aims to establish a culture of singing in all Local Learning Community (LLC) schools, where everyone will have the opportunity to sing.

Children and young people will work together, alongside a resident author and composer, to create a song cycle for their LLC, based on local history and heritage.

In September 2008 a new work will be commissioned to celebrate the coming together of the primary and secondary school children, and a Choir will be created, consisting of Yrs. 5,6,7 & 8 pupils.

Sessions will be open to all interested teachers from other schools. Parents, Govenors and Head Teachers will also be encouraged to support the project by observing and participating where appropriate.
