This feel good pop song is full of excitement at the endless possibilities of life. Kids will love the wordless vocalising sections!
Life is what you make it,
So let’s make it fun,
Push those clouds away,
Hey hey, today’s your day,
And I’m telling you that
Life is what you make it,
So let’s make it shine,
You can make your way,
Hey hey, today’s everything you want it to be.
Woooah
Ooooh
No-one knows what the future holds,
Every day is different,
That’s the fun about it!
As your life slowly evolves,
Make each day count,
Jump up and shout,
You must remember!
Life is what you make it,
So let’s make it fun,
Push those clouds away,
Hey hey, today’s your day,
And I’m telling you that
Life is what you make it,
So let’s make it fun,
Push those clouds away,
Hey hey, today’s your day,
And I’m telling you that
Life is what you make it,
So let’s make it shine,
You can make a way,
Hey hey, today’s everything you want it to be.
Woooah
Ooooh
Wooah
Yeah! Yeah!

Dream Street is a musical written for Secondary School aged pupils, with the intent of using as many kids in minor roles as possible. It takes a look at the lives of Lily, Jemima, Hugo & Charlie, who all live in the same street but don’t know it. They meet when they attend an open audition to be in the next big West End show, directed by the famous Sebastian Rickter. As each audition day goes by, they all cross their fingers hoping that Sebastian likes them. However, things aren’t plain sailing, as each one of them has to overcome their own personal issues in order to see their dreams come true.
