The Sage Gateshead are now recruiting a Strand Director to lead and inspire the newly appointed Sing Up Workforce Development team. 

Reporting to The Sage Gateshead’s Director of Learning and Participation, the Strand Director will be responsible for

• Strategic direction of national Sing Up CPD  planning and commissioning
• Strategic direction of national Sing Up Area Leaders  network
• Strategic  partnerships and research
• Quality assurance and monitoring
• Leadership of the  Sing Up Workforce Development management team 

This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape Sing Up – a ground-breaking initiative designed to bring about lasting change. The closing date for applications is 9am 7th January 2008. This post is being offered until March 31st 2009 in the first instance, with potential for extension to 31st March 2011.  Salary £35,000 pro rata per annum.
