Hi Miss Newens and Miss Swift

Unfortunately due to our funding ending in April, we no longer have the resources to be able to afford to produce plaques and send them out to all the schools involved in National Sing Up Day. We were able to send plaques out last year as a reward for achieving 50 Star Points but there was no messaging to that effect about the plaques this year.

 

We hope your schools still enjoyed National Sing Up Day and celebrated the achievement of getting involved with the Star Challenges. This was why we produced the downloadable certificate, so schools could celebrate in their own way - perhaps you set your own Star Challenge target to complete? Even if some classes only got 20 Star Points, it's still a really great acheivement.

I was lead to believe from the website that there would be plaques given for achieving 50 stars. I definately saw this offered . We achieved all the evidence needed and earned the 50 stars. Is there nothing special that can be sent out ?

It is a shame there are no plaques awarded this year as this gave the children the challenge to complete as many stars as they could. They needed to work towards it where as the certificate is easily downloaded and therefore did they need to get 50 stars.

Will you be doing any plaques at all?

We gave all our Sing Up plaques away last year! But we've got an extra special certificate for everyone who gets involved on the big day. Just visit our resources pages for more.
