Singing at Stonehenge

Pupils from Westlea Primary School sang their way to Stonehenge last Friday on the Singalong bus

Singing at Stonehenge

After its first week on tour taking in some of England's finest attractions, the School Trip Singalong bus made its way to Stonehenge.

Budding historians from Westlea Primary School in Swindon joined the ride across the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. Along the way they sang some specially commissioned songs about the mysterious stones and their origins.

On their Arrival, Westlea's Sing Up Gold Award winning pupils kicked off singing Two piles of Stones. The children then couldn't wait to look at the great monument at close range and quiz their guide on the facts and the myths surrounding the magical site.

Visitors were then treated to another round of singing, including a Map Rap, before it was time to jump back onto the bus and head for home.

Next, the School Trip Singalong bus will be heading to Canterbury Cathedral in Kent on Wednesday 16th June, so be sure to listen out for our singers!
