Hope school in Wigan caters for pupils aged 0 - 19 with a variety of learning difficulties. The school's philosophy encourages every child's individuality and independence - and what better way to do this than with singing!?
Musical Director Natalie Brindle started the choir with the aide of our Sing Up resources and repertoire. The choir meet once a week for fun and engaging practice sessions where they not only work on their singing, but allow plenty of time for socialising as well.
The choir prides itself on its array of talent, as Natalie says: "A great strength of the choir is that all pupils abilities are showcased – ranging from individual singing talents to dance and movement, as well as signing, with the greatest achievement being the pure enjoyment from both the choir as well as the audience."
The Hope School Musical Choir are still buzzing from their debut performance at their school annual BBQ where they stole the show - and have already been booked-in for next year's event!
