Rookesbury Park are a singing sensation! They had an action-packed National Sing Up Day celebration this year, involving a lunchtime Sing-a-thon in the playground and staff/student singing sessions where the children took the lead.
To top it off, they've just been awarded their Gold Sing Up Award, endorsed by Area Leader Anne George, who said: 'Rookesbury Park are on an exciting singing journey which has been, and will continue to be, beneficial in so many ways to all, from your Head teacher to your youngest pupil. I am sure you will see positive benefits across the whole school community.'
Singing can often be heard in the school corridors and a recent visitor to the school remarked that being spontaneously ‘sung at’ was an enjoyable first!
It's always gives us the warm and fuzzies to see schools singing their hearts out, keep up the great work, guys!
