Sing Up Spring Up

Sing up Spring up is a fantastic informal sharing event run by Sing Up East Berkshire for community singing groups and choirs in Windsor and Slough, especially those ones where young people (12-25 years old) have got a leading role.

This is a chance for local singing ensembles to sing for each other, network, learn new warm up exercises and sing a song as a big choir with inspirational singing leaders, whilst having lots of fun! The event is aimed at singing groups whose members are at least 12 years old.

When? Tuesday 16th March, 7-9pm

Where? West Wing Arts Centre, Main Auditorium, Stoke Road, Slough, SL2 5AY

Aims:

• To sing for and learn from each other.

• To promote the communication between local singing groups.

• To promote young singing leaders.

• To have lots of FUN!!!!

What will happen in the event?

Throughout the evening participants will have the opportunity to:

• Network with other local singing groups and choirs.

• Sing 1 or 2 songs as a group for each other on a professional stage.

• Attend a special performance by members of internationally award winning a cappella ensemble Voces 8. (www.voces8.com).

• Take part in warm up exercises and sing a song as a big choir, led by members of Voces 8.
