Five of our very own Platinum Award schools will be showcasing their singing talent at Voices Now, a huge celebration of ensemble singing at London’s legendary Roundhouse.
The four-day choral takeover of the Roundhouse will take place between 24-27 March and feature some of the world’s best choirs, over 1000 amateur singers, performances, workshops, talks and specially commissioned new works, with concerts broadcast live on BBC Radio 3.
The five school choirs will be supporting the BBC Singers and the Latvian Radio Choir, performing a range of pieces including Alexander L’Estrange’s This is Our World.
The schools taking part are:
- St Mary's RC Primary School from London
- North Lakes School from Cumbria
- St Michael's First School from Staffordshire
- Almondsbury Primary School from South Gloucestershire
- Lindley Junior School from Huddersfield

There's also a performance with primary and secondary schools from Harrow performing with members of the BBC Singers - www.roundhouse.org.uk/whats-on/productions/voices-now-bbc-singers-go-sing - and lots of other great events.
