400 singers and 50 staff from 20 primary schools came together to sing at 'Christmas in the City 2009', Nottingham City’s Annual Charity Christmas Concerts at the Albert Hall, Nottingham, on 14th & 15th December.
Staff in all of the schools have led rehearsals, using the Sing Up website and other resources to get the choirs fired up. For the performance, they sang in a range of cultures and musical styles reflecting the spirit of Christmas.
Other groups performing included the massed area bands, together with other world music ensembles and orchestras from Nottingham Music School.
