Primary school pupils from Sheffield will be performing in a celebration of young people’s music at the Magna Science and Adventure Centre on the 1st and 2nd November.
The project, which is joint venture between Sing Up and the Sheffield Music Service, features songs by Sing Up Advocate and workshop leader Lin Marsh.
The rehearsal schedule has been ongoing for some time. Teachers from ten local schools were brought together to learn the songs. From there, they practiced hard with their pupils for seven weeks before meeting with Lin to fine tune. From what we hear, the results are very exciting.
The event promises to be a magical singing experience. All of the schools involved are champions of singing - six of them are currently working with the Music Service to complete their Silver Sing Up Award.
