Youth Music Voices is a new project providing 14-19 year olds with the opportunity to join in and celebrate the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games through singing.
By joining Youth Music's national singing team, young singers can be part of London 2012 without having to be a sporting great.
One hundred and fifty young people from the broadest cultural mix across the UK will be working together as the Youth Music Voices Ensemble - a youth vocal ensemble unlike any other in the UK. The young singers will produce vibrant and exciting music throughout the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.
How do I get involved?
Youth Music will be hosting regional launch events across the UK until March 2011. Taking part in a Youth Music Voices launch event could be the first step in joining the Youth Music Voices Ensemble.
The workshops are the chance for 14-19 year olds to take part in a day of lively and challenging group vocal activities led by Richard Frostick; with opportunities to experience different styles and new repertoire.
