Chester Zoo was the final stop for the Singalong Bus on Wednesday 23rd June. Children from St Werburgh and Columbus School in Chester merrily sang their way there and wowed the staff with their rendition of Feeding time! and Butterfly.
Over the past month, the bus has been on a fantastic nationwide journey, delivering excited local school children to some of the country’s top attractions for days of singing and learning.
Whether meeting Vikings in York, learning about the Romans at Bath Spa or admiring the wonders of Stonehenge, every event has proved to be great fun for all involved.
We’d like to say a big Sing Up ‘thank you’ to all of the schools that took part in the regional events. They are all fantastic examples of how singing can be at the heart of school life.
