As children’s voices develop, they may find it exciting to perform. This is also the time when singing at home plays a vital role in helping with learning scales, rhythms and pitch.

There may be opportunities in or out of school to join a club, choir, theatre or massed singing event. These give children the opportunity to develop social skills, communal and individual responsibility and trust. These chances should be encouraged and supported!
