Vocal Force is a workforce development project based on the innovative Vocal Union programme devised by The Sage Gateshead.  Vocal Force has created over 60 bespoke projects to increase the skills, confidence and repertoire of more than 3,000 singing leaders.

Vocal Force projects frequently support the work of Sing Up Area Leaders, and are often created to target a specific group, lasting anything between 18 - 24 months. Every Vocal Force project aims for a significant, long-lasting impact on the skills of those participants who show the potential to lead singing with primary school children.

The overall aim of the projects is to foster a peer support network for people to share their learning, and also explore ways to sustain the network.
