Sing Up Flagships are organisations that demonstrate excellent models of practice in their work with primary school children.
In 2009, we chose five organisations to become Sing Up Flagships, each as part of a two-year programme: The Voices Foundation, the Association of British Choral Directors, the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, North West Music Partnership and Music and the Deaf.
Flagships are working with us to represent, share and develop their best practice through practical projects and performances, creating useful resources and acting as advocates for Sing Up throughout the country.
Thousands of children and many schools take inspiration from the Flagship practitioners and their programmes. Even better, all of the knowledge gained can be shared so that teachers, singing leaders and young people from all over the country can benefit from the Flagship programmes.
