Sing Up Devon is a two-year singing programme for schools in the Tiverton and Honiton areas of east Devon.

The project aims to establish a singing culture in all of the Local Learning Community schools, and give everyone the opportunity to sing.

Children and young people work together with a resident author and composer to create a song cycle based on local history and heritage.

In September 2008, a new work celebrated the coming together of the primary and secondary school children, featuring a choir of pupils from years 5 to 8.

Projects sessions invite teachers from other schools, and parents, governors and head teachers are actively encouraged to support projects.
