Q: Can schools outside of England but in the UK register now?

A: We are currently reviewing our ability to allow users outside of England access to Sing Up’s fantastic offer and resources. To ensure you are kept up-to-date on these developments, please register with Sing Up, and mark that you are happy to receive emails from us (these are occasional and from Sing Up only).
Q: Will Sing Up continue to be not-for-profit?

A: Sing Up is committed to providing exceptional value for money and will continue to operate on a not-for-profit basis.
Q: Can anyone pay for Sing Up access now?

A: From April 2012, anyone in England will be able to pay for Sing Up membership. We are currently reviewing our ability to allow users outside of England access to Sing Up’s fantastic offer and resources. To ensure you are kept up-to-date on these developments, please register with Sing Up, and mark that you are happy to receive emails from us (these are occasional and from Sing Up only).
Q: How much does it cost to register with Sing Up?

A: Currently the Sing Up website and resources are of no cost to those who register.

There are different levels of Sing Up Membership, please check out our Membership pages for more.
Q: Can Music Services still register?

A: Yes, registration is still available on our site and from April 2012 Music Services will be able to purchase membership. Until then, they will be able to access the Sing Up site as normal.
Q: Can Organisations still register?

A: Yes, registration is still available on our site and from April 2012 Organisations will be able to purchase membership. Until then, they will be able to access the Sing Up site as normal.
Q: Can Freelancers still register?

A: Yes, Freelancers will be able to purchase the Individuals' membership package shortly. To be notified as soon as it is available, please get in touch.

Until then, all registered users will have a 'Friend' membership which gives them full, unlimited access to ten songs in their library, plus the ability to see our video tutorials, selected resources and curriculum-linked lesson and activity plans.
Q: I'm a Secondary teacher, how do I register?

A: Whilst Sing Up has, over the past four years, been aimed at Primary education, we know and have supported transitional work with Secondary schools and they have been able to register as organisations. However, as part of our development work this year (2001/12) registration as a secondary school is now available and there are specific secondary resources being created. You should therefore be able to find your school within the lists of schools provided. If you cannot find your school please contact secondary@singup.org for help.
Q: I'm a trainee teacher, how do I register?

A: If you're studying for your teacher training, you can register with us. Provided that you are in England, select England and that you work with children, then select Freelancer and fill out the form as prompted.
If you are still experiencing problems, please contact us.
Q: I'm not in England. How do I register?
A: You’ll be pleased to know that you can now register as an overseas Sing Up member! Check out the ‘Country’ list on our registration page and pick 'Rest of World' and your role.

It’s important to note that you won’t be able to receive the magazine or download songs, as our funding only extends to mainland England,

but you can:
